Biography

Dr. Sara Lindeke is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed medical school, general psychiatry residency (where she served as a chief resident in her final year), and fellowship in consultation-liaison psychiatry at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Clinically, Dr. Lindeke serves as the director of the inpatient psychiatry consult service at Froedtert Hospital, where she is actively engaged in patient care across the general consult service and in the Complexity Intervention Unit (CIU). Since joining faculty at MCW, Dr. Lindeke has been in leadership roles within graduate medical education, serving as an Associate Program Director for both the psychiatry residency and the combined internal medicine-psychiatry residency. She has worked on projects around curriculum development for medical students and residents since her own residency. Dr. Lindeke is the course director for the Transition to Practice series, where she enjoys mentoring residents as they prepare to search for and take on their first jobs as independent practitioners.

Dr. Lindeke is board certified in both general psychiatry and consultation-liaison psychiatry. She is an active member of the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry (ACLP) and Association for Medicine and Psychiatry (AMP).
