Biography

Stephen Brandt MD has been an addiction psychiatrist with the Medical College of Wisconsin since August 2023. He splits his clinical time between outpatient psychiatry, intensive outpatient programming, and hospital consultation work. He went to Southern Illinois University for medical school and Indiana University for general psychiatry residency as well as addiction psychiatry fellowship, completing his training in June 2023. He enjoys helping others conceptualize addictions and understanding treatment and witnessing the humanity of individuals in their recovery journeys. Outside of work he enjoys family time especially with two hilarious kids at home, as well as playing soccer, board games, and music.
