Research Interests

My research focuses on developing AI-driven radio-pathomic maps for glioblastoma that predict microscopic tissue characteristics — including tumor probability, cell density, and extracellular fluid density — directly from MRI, revealing infiltrating tumor invisible on conventional imaging and enabling more precise surgical and radiation planning. I am currently working to validate and clinically implement these maps across the full disease trajectory, and to apply spatial transcriptomics to autopsy tissue to uncover immunotherapy targets at the invasive tumor front. I also contribute to parallel radio-pathomic work in prostate cancer, using MRI co-registered with whole-mount histology to distinguish clinically significant disease and predict recurrence risk. Broadly, my work aims to bring non-invasive, tissue-level insight into cancer diagnosis and treatment through the integration of advanced imaging and artificial intelligence.
