Biography
Dr. Miller received his bachelor's degree from Illinois State University, his master's degree from Central Michigan University, and his doctorate from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology/Chicago. He completed his residency and fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center.
Dr. Miller sees patients in the Medical College of Wisconsin's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine Clinic at the Tosa Health Center. He specializes in helping patients to cope with psychological distress (i.e., anxiety and depression), to improve self-management skills for acute and chronic medical conditions and treatments, and to adjust to life transitions - to advance holistic healthcare and improve patients' quality of life and outcomes.
In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Miller is the Co-Director for the Behavioral Medicine Primary Care (BMPC) Clinic, part of the MCW Health Psychology Residency Program, which is a predoctoral psychology internship program that focuses on health service psychology within a hospital setting.
