Research Interests

I chose to pursue a PhD because of my interest in cancer research, and particularly immunotherapy. My research projects involve designing, testing, and improving chimeric antigen receptors (CARs), a promising new therapy for multiple types of cancer. I am developing novel CARs to optimize their efficacy, increase safety, and target new types of cancer, with the aim of bringing these therapies to the clinic.
