Adam is the Director of Advocacy, Access, and Impact at the American Epilepsy Society (AES), where he oversees national initiatives related to health equity, workforce development, advocacy/health policy, patient partnership programs, and belonging.
Before joining AES, Adam was the Director of Medical School Education at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. Previously he was the Academic Director of the University of Michigan Health Sciences Scholars Program and a Lecturer in the U-M College of Literature, Science, and the Arts.
Adam is interested in the intersections of health policy, health professions education, and health equity.
Adam hails from a rural area of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and currently lives in Chicago with his golden retriever, Maizey.
