Biography

Research Interests

I’m interested in how cell‑level mechanisms drive cardiovascular disease, especially how the intercalated disc maintains the heart’s electrical and mechanical cohesion. Disruption of its junctional complexes undermines coordinated contraction and makes the myocardium vulnerable to arrhythmias and cardiomyopathy.
