Biography

Cynthia is a Lead Clinical Research Quality Assurance Specialist in the Department of Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), where she oversees clinical trial operations and quality assurance activities.

She earned her Master of Clinical Research degree from the University of Melbourne in Australia and previously worked as a research assistant at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne. Prior to her graduate studies, she spent four years working in the pharmaceutical industry in China as a clinical research professional, focusing on the development and implementation of clinical trials evaluating the safety and efficacy of novel therapeutics.

Cynthia is particularly passionate about community engagement and values the opportunity to connect with diverse populations. She finds the stories, lived experiences, and cultural perspectives of patients deeply meaningful and a driving force in her work. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Cynthia enjoys exploring local cuisines, traveling, and taking walks with her family.
