Biography

Year Entered MCW: 2023

Cynthia currently oversee clinical trials as a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Department of Hematology and Oncology at MCW. She completed her Master of Clinical Research degree at University of Melbourne in Australia and worked as Research Assistant in St. Vincent Hospital in division of Palliative Care for 2 years. Prior to her Master’s, she worked at Meda pharmaceutical company for 4 years in China as a Clinical Research Associate where she focused on the development and implementation of clinical trials to analyze the safety and efficacy of novel pharmaceuticals. Cynthia loves the communication aspect of working with communities. The stories and cultural aspects of what the population can teach about their lives is fascinating and inspiring to her. Outside of work, Cynthia enjoys trying local cuisines and taking walks with her husband and puppy. She also very much enjoys scuba diving and has her advanced open water diving license.
