Biography

Previous Education: University of Maryland; MS, Chatham University

Deanna attended the University of Maryland for her undergraduate degree, then Chatham University for her Master of Physician Assistant Studies. After practicing for several years, she returned to school to complete a Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Shippensburg University.

She currently works clinically as a PA in a suburban emergency department, and in a family planning setting at a local health department. She also continues to provide medication management services on a limited basis for a community mental health agency. Deanna appreciates the interplay between physical and mental health, striving to advocate for individual patients, as well as larger communities, by addressing system issues wherever possible.
