Heather Sellers is the Director of Population Health and Care Management for a Clinically Integrated Network on the eastside of Seattle. She has more than 20 years’ experience in healthcare, clinical leadership, and population health management. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Miami University (Ohio), and her Master of Public Health from the University of Kansas. She is Certified in Public Health, is a Certified Health Education Specialist, and serves as a representative for Healthcare Quality and Access on the Snohomish County Public Health Advisory Council.

Heather’s passion for public health was sparked during her 20-year career as a Nurse Corps Officer in the United States Navy. She completed a deployment to Afghanistan and was the Lead Nurse Planner for Pacific Partnership 2015, a joint military humanitarian mission. As a veteran herself, women veteran’s health is a significant interest. She is also interested in the intersections of health literacy, health education, and behavior change, and the impact social influencers of health have on outcomes as they relate to health promotion and disease prevention.

During her free time, Heather enjoys spending time outdoors running, hiking, fishing, and skiing with her husband and three Labrador Retrievers.
