Research Interests

The main research areas I was looking at included: infectious disease, developmental, bioinformatics, and cell physiology research. Being able to conduct research that will help other people, either through understanding of disease, or helping with preventability of disease, would allow me to continue to strive to help others in a meaningful way. Microbe-host associations are also an interest as they can play a deeper role into questions on how interactions with other organisms can drive our actions. Lastly, I have also looked into Zebrafish research as I enjoy Marine biology and find aquatic organisms to be fascinating.
