Prasanta Verma Anumolu, MBA MPH, is an experienced public health and business professional with well over 15 years of experience in academic, nonprofit, and healthcare sectors. Skilled in strategic planning, she values relationship development and human connection, and is passionate about creating spaces that facilitate a sense of belonging and contribute to a community’s well-being. Her work includes surveying and needs assessment, data analysis, and applying evidence-based approaches and strategies. She is experienced in developing culturally sensitive approaches and materials and applying an equity lens approach. In her work at the University of Wisconsin Madison Division of Extension, she develops and implements policy, systems, and environmental changes toward bringing greater healthy food access and reducing barriers to healthy foods across underserved areas in Milwaukee County. She is the author of the book Beyond Ethnic Loneliness, a 2024 Foreword INDIES finalist book of the year. A frequent speaker and lecturer, she brings cultural insight, a health equity lens, and a relationship-driven approach to her work. When not working or writing, she enjoys traveling, reading, being outdoors, and tasting cuisines from around the world.
