Previous Education: MPA, Nonprofit Administration and Public Policy; BS, Community Engagement and Education
Sarah serves as the Director of Summertime, a nonprofit teaching fitness through athletics, education, and a fun summer feeling. She strives for fitness in all forms (e.g. physically, psychologically, spiritually) by collaboratively designing community-oriented programs that break down the social and economic barriers to good health. Specializing in rare disease research, she coordinates worldwide clinical trials and numerous patient-centered initiatives such as patient registries, natural history studies, research seed grants, advocacy events, and more. Before family history catches up to her children, she's searching for cures to certain fibrotic, cholestatic, and prion diseases. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Sarah hopes to help her whole hometown heal.
