Shunaiber Tauhid is an Epidemiologist at the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, Bureau for Public Health, in the Office of Maternal, Child and Family Health. Until recently, she was also a part of a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) facility, in West Virginia, where she conducted individual and group therapy sessions for patients overcoming addiction. Shunaiber has a Master of Public Health degree from West Virginia University and a medical degree, MBBS from Dow Medical College, Pakistan. She is also a Master Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist from University of Massachusetts and a Certified Domestic Violence Specialist-II. In the past, she has worked in the tobacco resource division at a public health research and consulting firm and its nonprofit partner in Boston, MA. Shunaiber resides in Daniels, WV with her husband and enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
