Previous Education: BA dual major in History, and Modern Language (French) from Fairfield University; MPH from University of Washington

Susan Seabrooks is a research coordinator at Harborview Injury and Prevention Center, University of Washington working on school safety research and community collaboratives. She received her Masters in Public Health from the University of Washington in 2023.

Susan worked for 17 years at Aetna, Inc. as a Management Development Associate, Senior Account Executive, and Director of Customer Relations, ultimately working as the primary liaison for select Fortune 100 customers’ employee benefit programs. She also achieved her Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation. Her subsequent volunteer work at the Lake Washington School District, and as an executive board member at the Lake Washington Schools Foundation spurred her interest in public health, focused on youth mental health, food security, and equity and inclusion. Both employed and volunteer work incorporated her interests in health, health administration, and project management expertise.

When not working, her interests include travel, photography, gardening, and reading.

Youth food security, school safety, and teen dating violence prevention.
