Circuits Under Stress: Neural Signatures of Risk for PTSD and the Weight of Social Inequity

Presenter:
Dr. Christine Larson

Dr. Larson will share findings from neuroimaging studies examining structural and functional neural markers of risk for PTSD among individuals with a recent traumatic injury. She will also cover work examining how socioenvironmental stressors such as neighborhood resource disadvantage and experiencing racial discrimination affect risk for PTSD and brain structure and function after trauma.
