My patient care philosophy lies within my experience and solid foundation of being a pediatric nurse providing care for children and families. I believe in encouraging children and families to understand and value the importance of health maintenance. I look for ways to provide holistic care to help children manage their health without relying only on medications. I believe in the collaboration of caregivers, whether it is parents, grandparents or others along with their children to live a healthy lifestyle.

Biography

My experience as a nurse has been with the pediatric population, from pediatric intensive care to children with special needs. Most of my clinical training as a nurse practitioner was with a pediatric primary care group, which allowed me to gain insight on caring for children across the age spectrum, from prematurity to young adulthood. As a mom of two young children, I understand the need for working together with families to find solutions that fit best for their lifestyle.
