Biography
Dr. Burton is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery. He specializes in the comprehensive care of lower extremity conditions, including the foot, ankle, and knee. Within foot and ankle, he has expertise in the surgical treatment of bunions, fractures, arthritis, ankle instability and sports-related injuries. He also performs a high volume of total knee replacements and provides general orthopaedic fracture care, both nonoperative and surgical.
Dr. Burton takes pride in working at the Medical College of Wisconsin, as it allows him to improve the field of medicine through orthopaedic research. He is very committed to training the next generation of physicians through his involvement in the orthopaedic residency program.
Dr. Burton is a Wisconsin native and always knew he would return to his home state after his surgical training. In his free time, he continues to work on perfecting his secret recipe for fermented hot sauce. Most importantly, he enjoys spending time with his wife, four children and two Newfoundlands.
