Biography
Dr. Timothy Geier is a clinical health psychologist and assistant professor in the Division of Trauma & Acute Care Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He is embedded within the surgical trauma / critical care service and provides psychological care specifically for patients who have experienced serious physical injury, emergency surgery, critical illness, or complications related to trauma care. In his academic work, he studies mental health outcomes among injury and acute care populations, with particular interest in disparities, quality of life, and early behavioral interventions after traumatic injury.
