Biography
Jessica M Hanley, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery at Children’s Wisconsin, Froedtert Hospital and the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Hanley is originally from Michigan and graduated with highest honors from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee in 2013 and completed residency at the University of Iowa, one of the nation's top orthopaedic surgery training programs. She most recently completed a fellowship in adult and pediatric hand and upper extremity surgery at Harvard/Brigham & Women’s and Boston Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Hanley joined the Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in 2019. She treats a broad spectrum of adult and pediatric hand and upper extremity conditions, with a particular interest in pediatric upper limb trauma and congenital hand differences. She has multiple peer-reviewed publications and has presented at many national and regional orthopedic surgery conferences. She is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH), Mid-America Orthopaedic Association (MAOA) and Pediatric Hand Study Group.
