The goal for any physician is to optimize the health and wellness of his or her patients. In order to accomplish this goal, the patient/doctor relationship must be a partnership built on knowledge and communication. I strive to provide a comfortable environment where patients can openly discuss their medical problems. I believe it is crucial to educate my patients on their illnesses, take time to answer questions, and to explain the rationale behind each treatment option. Whether it is managing complex chronic medical issues or simply discussing preventive medicine, I enjoy working with my patients to develop individualized care plans.
