Biography
Dr. Takushi Kohmoto has experience in all forms of heart surgery, including heart transplantation, coronary artery bypass surgery, and aortic and mitral valve surgery. He has extensive experience with mechanical circulatory support devices and in performing heart transplantation, having worked with advanced heart failure patients for more than 20 years. Dr. Kohmoto is the surgical director of the Heart Transplant Program.
