Biography

Leslie Cockerham, MD, MAS, is an associate professor in medicine (infectious diseases) at the Medical College of Wisconsin and the Chief Medical Officer at Vivent Health. Dr. Cockerham received her Medical Degree from the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago. She then completed her internal medicine residency, chief residency and infectious disease fellowship at the University of California – San Francisco (UCSF). While at UCSF, she also completed advanced training in epidemiology and biostatistics and received a Master’s Degree in Clinical Research. Dr. Cockerham joined the faculty at MCW in late 2014. Dr. Cockerham attends on the inpatient consult services and provides HIV, PrEP and primary care to patients at Vivent Health. In 2022, Dr. Cockerham assumed the role of Chief Medical officer at Vivent Health overseeing ten medical clinics 6 states, including 4 in Wisconsin.
