Biography
Catherine McManus is a board-certified, high volume endocrine surgeon who specializes in the treatment of thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal disease. Her extensive experience with minimally invasive techniques and cutting edge technology, including radiofrequency ablation of thyroid disease and robotic adrenalectromy, allow her to offer high quality, individualized care to every patient. Dr. McManus received her medical degree from University of Wisconsin Madison and subsequently completed her surgical training at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. During her residency, she earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Research Methods from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. She completed her endocrine surgery fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. McManus has a passion for surgical education and training the next generation of physicians. Her research focuses on clinical outcomes and surgical education.
