Biography

Dr. Ushma J Patel is an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology in the Division of Urogynecology. She graduated summa cum laude from Marquette University, then received her medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in 2018. Dr. Patel completed her obstetrics & gynecology residency at the University of Wisconsin, where she stayed on to complete her fellowship in urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery in 2025. Dr. Patel joined the Medical College of Wisconsin in October 2025. During residency and fellowship, Dr. Patel was active in research, education, and quality improvement. Her research interests include urinary and fecal incontinence.
