I come from a respected and educated family in Pakistan. I went to medical school at Karachi's Dow Medical College, a reputable institution for medical sciences. After graduating, I started my residency in Anesthesiology in Karachi. I then went to Saudi Arabia as an anesthesiologist. Finally, I migrated to the USA in 1994 and completed my internship and residency in Anesthesia and a fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesia at The Medical College of Wisconsin.
