Biography
Dr. Carole Vetter is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with subspecialty certification in orthopaedic sports medicine. She specializes in arthroscopic and open reconstructive procedures of the knee.
Dr. Vetter has more than two decades of experience performing ACL reconstruction and is one of the highest volume ACL surgeons in the state of Wisconsin. Her surgical expertise also includes patellofemoral reconstruction, meniscal preservation/repair, PCL reconstruction, multi-ligament knee reconstruction and cartilage restoration surgery.
Dr. Vetter currently serves as Head Team Physician for the Milwaukee Bucks. She is also the Team Physician for US Speed Skating. She has previously served as Team Physician for the Milwaukee Brewers and the Milwaukee Wave. When caring for professional athletes with knee injuries, Dr. Vetter employs the most advanced, evidence-based techniques in both surgical treatment and postoperative rehabilitation. She brings this same level of expertise and commitment to all patients—whether they are competitive athletes, weekend warriors or individuals who simply need a stable, pain-free knee for work or everyday activities.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Vetter enjoys spending time with her husband and her three daughters. Her personal interests include water skiing, downhill skiing and cycling.
