I have been given the opportunity to learn and practice medicine in acute care environments (hospital and ICU) for the first two decades of my career. During that time that I observed the detrimental effect of quality of life due to cardiovascular disease, metabolic disease, or cognitive degeneration, I developed a desire to study preventative medicine. I now look forward to educating patients on lifestyle medicine practices that can help reduce their risk of developing chronic medical conditions and improve quality of life.

Biography

I genuinely enjoy providing care for others. I am also grateful to spend time with my husband, three daughters and dogs. I love to be outdoors, whether it involves taking a walk, hiking in the woods or watching my daughters’ soccer games.
