Research within the Institute for Health & Society
The Institute for Health and society is comprised of four divisions at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). We have expertise in basic science, clinical and community health fields of Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Bioethics, and Population Health Improvement.
The Institute serves as the academic home for several successful existing programs of the College, including the Center for Bioethics and Medical Humanities, the division of Biostatistics, the Healthier Wisconsin Partnership Program, and the Violence Prevention Initiative.

The purpose of the Community Mental Health Seminar sponsored by the Medical College of Wisconsin's Institute for Health and Society is to raise knowledge, influence attitudes and modify primary care and community practices to help people with special needs.
