Katie grew up in the greater Milwaukee area. She attended UW-Madison for her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and UW-Milwaukee for her Doctor of Nursing Practice. When she is not at work, she enjoys reading, trying new recipes, and hiking in local and state parks with her husband.
