Biography

Dr. Stephanie Cheok is an Assistant Professor in the MCW and Froedtert Department of Neurosurgery and specializes in a variety of neurosurgical procedures for skull base and brain tumors, pituitary adenomas, CSF leaks, cranial trauma, and hydrocephalus. She joined MCW in 2023. Dr. Cheok received a BA in Molecular and Cell Biology and Neuroscience from the University of California - Berkeley. She then received her medical degree from the University of California - Los Angeles David Geffen School of Medicine in 2015. Following medical school, she completed Neurosurgical residency at Yale University in New Haven, CT, and a Skull Base and Tumor Fellowship at the University of Southern California. Her research interests include pituitary tumor outcomes research and molecular diagnostic utilizing brain fluid.

"My philosophy for taking care of patients is to guide them through their neurosurgical treatment journey, which can be challenging. I take time to develop a trusting relationship with my patients by spending time with them, ensuring they fully understand their disease process and options, and collaborating with the best experts in multiple fields to provide the best and most up-to-date care I can."
