Research Interests

Dr. Baumer-Mouradian is a clinical researcher, with a focus on quality improvement and implementation science. Her recent research has focused on improving influenza vaccination rates in underserved populations through a pediatric emergency department vaccination program.  Dr. Baumer-Mouradian has received funding from the Children’s Research Institute at Children’s Wisconsin to explore vaccine hesitancy and identify facilitators of influenza and SARS-CoV2 vaccine acceptance in underserved populations.  She is currently working to spread this ED vaccination initiative to three adult healthcare systems in the Milwaukee area.

In addition to her own research, Dr. Baumer-Mouradian serves as the Director of Quality Improvement in the Section of Emergency Medicine where she mentors students, residents, and faculty in the areas of quality improvement and scholarship.
