Beth A. Erickson, MD, FACR, FASTRO, FABS, Chosen as President-Elect of ASTRO (American Society for Radiation Oncology)

ASTRO (American Society for Radiation Oncology), the world’s largest professional society dedicated to advancing radiation medicine, has announced that MCW's own Beth A. Erickson, MD, FACR, FASTRO, FABS, has been selected as their next President-Elect. At ASTRO, Dr. Erickson has held tenure as the Board’s Education Council Chair, has served as chair of the Annual Refresher Course Committee as well as the committee that developed clinical guidelines for endometrial cancer, among other roles. Dr. Erickson will lead ASTRO’s 10,000 members, made up of physicians, biologists, radiation therapists and more, when she assumes the presidency in September 2027.
