Welcome to the Medical College of Wisconsin Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery
The Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin leads the Trauma Program, Surgical Critical Care Service, Acute Care Surgery, and Community General Surgery at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital, Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital, and Froedtert West Bend Hospital. We provide comprehensive, around-the-clock surgical care – 24 hours a day, seven days a week – serving both patients and professional colleagues.
Our team specializes in the management of injuries, complex wounds, surgical infections, and critical illness, while also maintaining an active general surgery practice with expertise in laparoscopy, endoscopy, gastrointestinal surgery, and emergency surgical care.
All faculty are board-certified in general surgery with added qualifications in critical care, and our research focuses on improving patient outcomes, advancing cost-effective care, and enhancing surgical education.
