Research Interests

I will be working with Dr. Kothari within the Division of Surgical Oncology. Our primary project focuses on postoperative recovery at home. There is a period of vulnerability identified as "post-hospital syndrome" in which patients have physiologic depletions pertaining to physical activity, nutrition, sleep, and cognition. We intend to utilize artificial intelligence to create personalized daily goals for patients to target these four aspects of recovery. Patients' progress will be tracked within their AI Assistant application, developed by our team. The primary aim of this project is to hasten a patient's return to pre-operative baseline by breaking the barrier of postoperative care after discharge.
