Research Interests

Megan Quamme is a general surgery resident completing a research fellowship in the Trauma and Acute Care Surgery division. She will be working under Dr. Thomas Carver to investigate utilization of point-of-care ultrasound in the surgical ICU to determine volume status and to guide weaning from ventilator support. She will also be working on various projects regarding traumatic hemothorax and pneumothorax management, arterial pressure index, and Comparison of the HVI Score and BIPS in Blunt Abdominal Trauma.
