Research Interests

I will be working with Dr. Istl exploring perioperative and long-term oncologic outcomes associated with different neoadjuvant hypofractionated radiation strategies in soft tissue sarcoma, as well as the financial toxicity patients experience during the neoadjuvant therapy period. I will also be contributing to data collection for both the SIGNAL trial, which evaluates ctDNA correlation with disease recurrence and progression for patients with soft tissue sarcoma, and the NUTRI-Sarc trial, which assesses the impact of a structured preoperative nutritional intervention on post-radiation and postoperative adverse events and nutritional status.
