Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences Welcomes Cornea Specialist Sarah Carballo, MD

Sarah Carballo, MD, has joined the Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences as an assistant professor of ophthalmology. Dr. Carballo specializes in cornea and external eye diseases and will provide patient care as well as resident education.

Originally from the Milwaukee area, Dr. Carballo completed her medical education at Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University and her ophthalmology residency at Rush University in Chicago. Most recently, Dr. Carballo completed her fellowship in cornea and external disease at Cincinnati Eye Institute.

Dr. Carballo is excited to be back home in Wisconsin, treating patients and participating in both resident teaching and clinical research in the department.
