MCW Recognized on Forbes Best-In-State Employer List for Fifth Consecutive Year
The Medical College of Wisconsin is pleased to share that Forbes has recognized us as a Best-In-State Employer in Wisconsin for the fifth consecutive year. Open to companies from all industry sectors, America's Best-In-State Employers 2025 were identified in an independent survey at companies that employ at least 500 people within the U.S.
An employer's final score is determined on a state-by-state basis and is built upon two types of employee evaluations:
- Personal Evaluations: Employees’ willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family.
- Public Evaluations: Recommendations from friends and family members of employees, or members of the public who work in the same industry (also known as indirect evaluations).
"The Medical College of Wisconsin is honored to receive this recognition by Forbes as a top employer in the state for five consecutive years," said John R. Raymond, Sr., MD president and CEO. "This achievement reflects the exceptional talent and unwavering dedication of our employees, who are the driving force behind the knowledge that is changing life, uplifting communities and helping to rewrite people’s stories.”
“MCW thrives because of the talent, dedication, and commitment of our people,” said Adrienne Mitchell, MBA, SPHR, PMP, Chief People Officer. “This recognition underscores that when we place our people at the center of all we do, we create the conditions for our community to flourish and make a meaningful impact. After all, it is our employees’ unwavering dedication to our mission, vision, and values that makes MCW such a special place to work and learn.”
Based on the results of the Forbes survey and following our prior recognition in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024, we are thrilled to again be named as a top employer in Wisconsin and the country.
