Nov. 21 - Theresa Maatman, MD, assistant professor of internal medicine at MCW, uses her talent with comics as a tool for teaching medical students and training residents.

Eye Institute well-represented among charter Inductee members to Retina Hall of Fame

Nov. 21 - The Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences is proud to announce that 17 ophthalmologists with connections to the MCW Eye Institute, including two current faculty, have been named charter inductees to the Retina Hall of Fame for their achievements in medicine and contributions to the retina subspecialty. Dennis P. Han, MD, the Jack A. & Elaine Klieger Professor of Ophthalmology, and Judy E. Kim, MD, professor of ophthalmology & visual sciences, were among the 242 charter members who have distinguished themselves in research and treatments of retinal diseases and conditions.

MCW and Notre Dame join forces for global health student research program

Nov. 16 - Under the guidance of a Notre Dame professor, three MCW Kohler Summer Academy of Global Health Research Scholars studied tropical diseases and public health awareness in Belize.

Grab Your sneakers and run/walk to benefit Froedtert & MCW Clinical Trials Office Saturday, Nov. 4

Nov. 3 - Race for Your Reason, a community 5K run/walk, will take place this Saturday, Nov. 4, at The Corners of Brookfield. All ages are welcome for this family-friendly event. The run/walk will begin at 9 a.m. The Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin’s Clinical Trials Program was one of just five charities selected to benefit from this event.
