Dr. Ian Martin Begins Tenure as President of Association of Academic Chairs of Emergency Medicine

Ian B. K. Martin, MD, MBA, eminent scholar, professor with tenure, system chair of emergency medicine and interim associate provost and senior associate dean of faculty affairs, began his term as president of the Association of Academic Chairs of Emergency Medicine (AACEM) at the association’s May 15 meeting in Philadelphia.

A premier national association, AACEM’s mission is to enhance and support academic departments of emergency medicine as they improve health care through high-quality education and research.

Dr. Martin previously served as president-elect, secretary-treasurer, and as an at-large member of AACEM’s Board.
