Biography

Catie Carter is a Research Program Coordinator III supporting Dr. Laura Cassidy. In her role, Ms. Carter coordinates research projects that focus on resiliency, trauma, and equity in early childhood development.

Ms. Carter received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Master of Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology from Saint Louis University. Prior to MCW, she was the Fetal Infant Mortality Review (FIMR) Coordinator for St. Louis City and St. Louis County. Ms. Carter supported the collective impact initiative aimed at reducing infant mortality in St. Louis. Her interests lie in creating sustainable, systemic change that address upstream root causes of health disparities.

When she’s not at work, Ms. Carter loves playing volleyball and attending as many rock concerts and music festivals as her time and budget allow.
