Biography

Zuleyma is a social worker with the Medical College of Wisconsin, embedded within the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office. In this role, she provides bereavement support and conducts next-of-kin interviews with families who have experienced the devastating loss of a loved one due to overdose. She earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. For over 10 years, she has worked alongside families, children, and individuals in vulnerable situations, providing advocacy, emotional support, and connection to resources.
