Biography

I began my career as an Occupational Therapist (OT), doing travel therapy throughout the country for five years and then moving back to Milwaukee and working at multiple hospital systems in the area, including Froedtert. My primary setting that I worked in was acute care, working with all different populations during some of their toughest days. As an acute care OT, I focused on helping people get back to doing their meaningful, everyday activities they needed to do to return home safely, while also focusing on mental health and cognitive concerns. After about 10 years as an OT, I decided to switch my focus to research. I worked for the MCW Clinical Trials Office for 2.5 years before joining Dr. Stolley's lab in March of 2026. I was drawn to Dr. Stolley and her lab, as her work aligns well with the framework of OT; pursuing evidence-based interventions to assist with improving the quality of life and overall health of others and helping them meet their goals of performing meaningful and important activities. I truly enjoy working with others and providing encouragement throughout their health and wellness journey, and I'm very excited to be a part of Dr. Stolley's lab.
