Biography

James F. Wu, MD (he/him/his) completed medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin where he won the Medical Student Engstrom Award in Internal Medicine. He is a current third-year Internal Medicine resident physician at the Medical College of Wisconsin where he will next complete his Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship.

Research Interests

Dr. Wu has extensive experience in working to alleviate health disparities in Milwaukee and has a passion for health equity research. Dr. Wu is funded by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute R38 Medical College of Wisconsin Physician-Scientist Immersion Program and the American Society of Hematology HONORS (Hematology Opportunities for the Next Generation of Research Scientists) Award to work with his primary mentor Dr. Anita D’Souza to investigate multiple myeloma health disparities.
