Catherine McManus, MD, MS, FACS, Elected Treasurer of NASIT (North American Society for Interventional Thyroidology)

: Catherine McManus, MD, MS, FACSA global group of experts in thyroid ablation assembled at this year’s annual NASIT (North American Society for Interventional Thyroidology) meeting, where it was announced that Catherine McManus, MD, MS, FACS, Associate Professor in the Division of Surgical Oncology in the Department of Surgery at MCW, and NASIT 2025 Program Chair, has been elected as Treasurer of NASIT. NASIT, the largest multidisciplinary organization in the U.S. dedicated to interventional thryoidology, offers educational programs, establishes safety standards for procedures, and promotes a collaborative environment for research and the development of new treatment options.
