Melissa Prah Receives Outstanding Presentation Award
Melissa Prah, engineer II in the Schmainda lab in the Department of Biophysics, received the American Society of Neuroradiology’s 2022 (ASNR22) Outstanding Presentation Award in the adult brain category for her presentation, titled “MGMT Combined with Post-CRT Perfusion MRI-Derived Fractional Tumor Burden Informs Overall Survival in Newly Diagnosed Glioblastoma.” Co-authors of the presentation include Kathleen Schmainda, PhD, professor of biophysics and radiology, and Jennifer Connelly, MD, associate professor of neurology.
Prah gave her presentation as part of the recent ASNR22 meeting in New York City. Her presentation represents “some of the most influential neuroradiology research taking place in the world today.”
