About SEAWINDS

The Southeast Wisconsin Data Science (SEAWINDS) Collaborative invites you to join us for the 2nd annual SEAWINDS Research Symposium with the theme of “Artificial Intelligence Enabling Translational Science”. The event is hosted by the Milwaukee School of Engineering and sponsored by the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) Data Science Institute (DSI) and Southeast Wisconsin Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI).

The Symposium aims to foster collaboration among faculty, staff, trainees, and community organizations. The event will feature thought-provoking presentations, networking opportunities, posters, and so much more!

Date: Friday, October 24, 2025
Time: 8:30am - 3:00pm
Location: Milwaukee School of Engineering (Diercks Hall MSOE), 1025 N. Milwaukee, Milwaukee, WI 53202

All abstract submitters must be registered participants of the SEAWINDS Symposium.

Abstract Submissions

We invite two categories of abstract submissions: podium presentations and posters. Given that the number of podium presentations is limited, unsuccessful submissions for podium presentations will be considered for inclusion as posters. Podium presentations will be limited to 20 minutes total for presentation and Q&A, with a recommended split of 12/8. Posters will be presented in a traditional format at a dedicated poster/networking session.

Abstract submissions are due by Monday, September 22, 2025. Please submit your form by September 22, 2025!
