COVID-19 Delta Variant: Milwaukee Officials Discuss
In Milwaukee County, health leaders share growing concern the COVID-19 Delta variant is more contagious and leading to more severe cases. However, Dr. Ben Weston notes that current vaccines seem to be useful against the COVID-19 variant. He states that "fully vaccinated individuals are very protected from this pandemic, from COVID and all the variants". While mass vaccination sites are no longer readily available, individuals still have many options to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and should consider doing so.
