Dr. Ben Weston Discusses Delta Variant and the Rise of Cases Without Vaccination
A new variant of COVID-19 has now entered the United States, which has dominated India and the United Kingdom. Dr. Ben Weston states that the "UK has nearly identical vaccination rates as what we have in the US", emphasizing that the UK is seeing more than a doubling in daily cases in the last 10 days. In the Milwaukee County, the variant could escalate rapidly in communities that have lower vaccination rates, especially in those communities of color. Dr. Weston states only 26% of the African American community in Milwaukee County is vaccinated.
